All four constitutional amendments — written to benefit those in the back room, not the living room — have failed. And they didn’t fail because of money or power. They failed because the people got organized.

I live in a rural red district in WA state&we have protest each Sat for 1 hour in our little town. We have had over 200 people showing up. Those 1 hour gatherings include organizing, making connections...In other towns in district, people are gathering.The organizing is taking place beyond protests.

This is also why local elections are so important. People elected to school, library, park boards, city councils: they are deciding what happens in your town.
