Just like in the UK, Aus needs stronger enforcement to shut down the illicit tobacco trade. Simplistic calls to lower tax & make legal cigarettes cheaper is a distraction allowing tobacco giants to control the narrative and influence tobacco control across the world. See ash.org.uk/media-centre...
