Mostly here for football stuff.
The Chelsea game was at 3 pm, on a Monday, in Atlanta, not surprising it didn't draw a massive crowd
17.06.2025 17:59 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Is there no end to this madness?
29.03.2025 19:34 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0AND NOW HE'S THE GOATππ
13.03.2025 21:14 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0My main message though here is though, the phrase "worst in history" is used far to often. There have been a lot of transfers in the history of football, yet everyone has to act like things that they like or dislike are either the best or the worst.
13.03.2025 21:12 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 2 π 0I don't quite see for one what you read into my post, I said I didn't think he was a good signing. My hoping he proves me wrong is because that benefits Chelsea and he doesn't seem like a bad guy, so I hope he does well.
13.03.2025 21:10 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I get what you mean. But Drinkwater was considered a bad signing even when we made it, but he turned out even worse. Cost 50 million, was on relatively high wages and played just over 1100 minutes for Chelsea.
13.03.2025 21:05 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0For one, don't think he was a good signing either, hope he proves me wrong. Secondly, even when saying among, it's still a stretch. And worse signings include Drinkwater, Antony, Lukaku to Chelsea, Kepa. These are just the ones off the top of my head
13.03.2025 20:34 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 2 π 0Ok, people are far too liberal with the "worst in history" phrase. Do you genuinely think worst in history? Or just bad? Cause I can name you quite a few worse ones
13.03.2025 20:29 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Wow, don't compare us with spurs, not even as a joke. No satire is worth such analogies
12.03.2025 08:51 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I also didn't enjoy over the summer how he constantly said Jackson's not good enough, we need Osihmen. Now wether Jackson is good enough or not is one thing, but don't bang on about it non stop and keep pushing for Osihmen over and over again. It got honestly rather annoying.
17.02.2025 18:52 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I can understand Felix and Nkunku wanting to leave. They're both good players, too good to be constantly on the bench, but Palmer has solidified that number 10 spot as his own.
03.02.2025 13:53 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Woah, leave our Chelsea fella out of this. This is an Everton discussion.
01.02.2025 17:58 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Between the two I'm less sure about Tosin, I do agree though that Disasi is third of the three. I actually like him as a player and think he could do in the prem, he's just more of a box playing center back than a build up one, if you know what I mean
11.01.2025 19:07 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Was nice to see George playing, he looks really good, wish he had gotten a goal
11.01.2025 19:02 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Overlooked? People have been waxing lyrically about them for years. Palmer hasn't been around as long so it is news. Salah posting high numbers is not news anymore, Palmer doing it in his first season is.
10.12.2024 14:04 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Every Friday night, mate. Every time I say to myself, just some judicial oversight, but then bam, martial law. Next day so regret it, tell myself never again, but the following weekend, the same god damn thing.
07.12.2024 19:26 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Congrats mate, know you'll do an excellent job
07.12.2024 19:14 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0But then we'd also have to review the first yellow for it to be fair, which would make VAR more intrusive than it already is
07.12.2024 18:02 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0And then down the spiked mayonnaise
29.11.2024 14:49 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Of course. Maybe a better question would be, which ones do you want see come off the bench?
28.11.2024 14:57 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Looks about right. Which youngsters you think will come off the bench if any?
28.11.2024 14:54 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0How feasible is it for the MLS to grow to the extent that it can actually attract top level players? It feels like the entire sport needs investment and restructuring to even hope to rise in stature. It doesn't feel like there's the will and willingness to do this.
28.11.2024 14:47 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Less concerned about ex players, some of them seem to always hark back to the "good old days". Maybe ex players should be involved in the formulation of rules, but it seems that quite often they're judging situations on the rules that used to exist, not as they are now
26.11.2024 17:18 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I of course can understand some of the criticism he got last season, but it did quite often feel like a I-want-a-shiny-new-toy syndrome was going around. Everybody seemed to have a favourite striker that Chelsea needed to sign. Jackson's showing patience can be rewarded.
25.11.2024 15:24 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Do you think there should be dedicated VAR refs? It just kind of makes sense to me, the requirements are different to an on-field ref
25.11.2024 15:05 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Did McCarthy see Sanchez's erratic moments and go, "hold my beer"? #SOULIV
24.11.2024 15:34 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0It really is such a shame. I remember talking about him when he came back to Chelsea and thinking this lad could be the best right back in the world. I really hope he can stay injury free for an extended period of time, but like you I doubt that is going to happen sadly. Really hope I'm wrong though
22.11.2024 13:56 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0These constant international breaks are ridiculous. Couldn't they just do two of them for a month each. One in autumn and another in spring?
19.11.2024 16:49 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0People often seem to be conflating a basic difference in opinion with having some absolutely horrific views. If you got a different opinion about a football game, that's cool, if you write absolutely vile stuff about immigrants, I don't want you around me, wether in real life or virtually.
