Custard is a little adolescent caliby cat, predominantly white, with patches of ginger and grey tabby on her face and back. She's standing on her hind legs, front legs resting on the pole of the bird feeder stand. She's looking upwards as far as her neck will allow, stretching as much as she can to get to the food. Unfortunately for her, it's pieces of red berry suet block

My dad put some suet out for the birds, and Custard was trying to steal it.

She was not successful 😂

A little trip today, out to Silverstone!

Five kiwi berries in my hand. Kiwi berries are green slightly oval shaped berries, about the size of my fingerpad. Two are a little larger than that. A couple have brown scaly bits on, which are the questionable looking bits

My first harvest of kiwi berries!

One or two have some questionable looking bits on them, but hopefully it's just on the skin.

Looking forward to trying one!

Two red petaled and black centred crocheted poppies.

This time last week, I couldn't crochet to save my life.

I've now made over 100 crocheted poppies for the local poppy display, celebrating those who gave their today for our tomorrow

She was very confused when I said it was fine for her to sit in the box, and didn't shoo her out 😂

Derek in September last year. He's a grey brown tabby with Tiger stripes. He's sitting on a loo seat box.

Derek today. He's still a tabby, but his stripes are more defined. His eyes are greener and larger. He's taller than my knee now, and longer than my thigh. My mum almost didn't recognise him, because he towers over his older brothers, Sausage and Theo

I can't believe how much Derek has grown in the past year. He's gotten so long and tall!

Am I eating fudge in bed at 10:30pm? Yes, i am.

Am I going to regret it when I have a sugar rush at midnight? Nope, it's good fudge 😂

So starts my 29th trip around the sun.

This time next year, I won't be a twentysomething anymore 😂

My teachers always used to tell me that I'd be the most successful of the year group, but it's never panned out that way, despite years of hard work and sacrifice.

I feel like I've lost my place in the wider world, and the more I chase it, the further away from me it gets

I feel so far behind my peers sometimes.

Their lives are all mostly stable, jobs, careers, independence.

Then there's me, who has never worked a stable job (only temporary contracts), struggled to earn enough to survive, and still lives at home.

Looks like this is going to ET and penalties

And now from F1 to the Women's Euro final...

Belgium will be my last GP aged 28...I'll be 29 next week 🫠 I'm running out of 20s

I was looking at getting a new piercing for my birthday, then realised that I'm allergic to every metal recommended for new piercings 🙃 i can only use pure silver, so guess that's that idea out of the window 😂

Got myself a zapper thing for my mosquito bites and ouch does it hurt when it zaps, but oooft the relief it brings!

My dad has ordered a giant Ozzy flag for the garden 🤘 we will have it flying proudly at half mast once it arrives

Custard is a young adult caliby cat, with yellow eyes. She wears a black collar with a grey reflective strip, and has three bells on her collar (one black, two extra silver ones on a clip). There's a big freckle on the end of her little pink nose. She's staring at me, ears alert.

Custard has visited today with a few extra bells on her collar. I think her owners may have got fed up of her bringing home snacks!

(The bells don't make noise unless Custard is running or crouching lile she's about to pounce.)

Tom is a ginger tabby, with green eyes, and a patch of white fur across his mouth and nose. He's a shy boy, but he's loafing away, while giving me lots of miaows and squeaks. His mouth is open mid miaow, his whiskers twitching.

I'm feeding my uncle's cats this week while he's away, and Tom certainly had a lot to say today!

(Poor guy doesn't have a lot of teeth, as they didn't grow in correctly and had to be removed as they were hurting him quite a lot. He's an older boy now, loves his gravy and gumming my fingers)

Michelle Agymang has been my standout player from the Lionesses for this Euros.

I was considering selling on etsy, but then realised I'd have to significantly raise my prices, when the main idea is to keep prices low enough to be accessible to everyone.

So I'm sticking with ebay for now.

(I did consider Vinted, but that certainly requires a skill set i do not possess)

I had a stowaway while driving back from the supermarket!

Rescued the cricket, and safely deposited him in the hedge (after it'd let itself into my hair twice, and run up my jacket sleeve!).

Custard is a little caliby cat, predominantly white, but with a tabby tail, and tabby and ginger patches on her back, shoulders, and head. She's lying in the flowerbed behind the green bin, watching her brother Rhubarb play on the concrete slabs. Rhubarb is big for his age, predominantly white but with black patches that make him look like he's wearing a wig with a side fringe, and big green eyes.

I think Custard is sick of her brother being a menace 🤣

Women's healthcare is rubbish. Time and time again i sit in waiting rooms at hospitals full of women who have the same pain and life limiting symptoms as me. Some are the same age, some older, some younger.

And they're ignored too.

Healthcare needs to DO BETTER.

I'm still having therapy for PTSD i developed as a result of that night.

I still flinch at having to go into the bathroom, especially so if I'm having an endo flare up.

Endometriosis is a whole body disease. It doesn't just have a physical cost, there's mental and emotional ones too.

It was also the beginning of the end of my quest for an endometriosis diagnosis, mainly because the doctors couldn't ignore what was happening to me any longer (despite their best efforts to anyway).

But even once diagnosed, getting treatment is a whole different fight in itself.
