Just played 3E for the first time with coworkers last week. Appreciate the streamlining and reduced number of tokens, but dislike that it’s not completely compatible with Widow’s Walk.

In my mind, there is no reason why that card couldn’t/shouldn’t just be UBG. Being hybrid makes it marginally more playable, sure, but I also disagree with allowing people not committed to Sultai access to Sultai mechanics. I am willing to accept this may be a minority opinion.

Faxes are HIPAA compliant and universally reliable compared to other systems. Also more secure as a PTP connection than email or storing data on the cloud. Plus most people don’t need to be trained how to use them.

See, to me, Finks should be 1WG—that makes it as much “both” as 1{w/g}{w/g} does. But then again, I am old and I have strong opinions about how the world should be more like it was when I wasn’t old. I’m off to my Entmoot now.

I think it points to a bigger design issue with hybrid mana in that it dilutes the color pie and doesn’t really do anything that having two distinct color symbols wouldn’t. But that’s my opinion. I don’t want the rule to change, but if it does, it does. I can see pro arguments both for and against.

I have not played D&D for a while. Given what I know about the background elements of the classes, my brain broke when you said “paladin/warlock”. How exactly does that work, because it feels like one of the few combos that just can’t happen.
