Aw bugger. That's tough. My environment is quite RF noisy too, but fortunately since I mainly operate CW, this is less of a problem because of the narrower filters. SSB is a nightmare too on the lower bands.

It's all about contests, xOTA-activations and special calls nowadays. In the evenings you probably would get a response to your CQ calls on the lower bands as it's the time when all the chatters gather.
