78% are murdered by a partner/ex

Yet not once have I heard Reform talk about this

Not once have I heard them back measures to protect women’s safety

People who have come to the United Kingdom legally, played by the rules and made it their home do not need to “go home”. This is their home.

I've written to Kemi Badenoch to give her the chance to reject these divisive calls from her frontbencher Katie Lam.

Yesterday we heard renewables overtook coal as the world's largest source of electricity generation. We should celebrate this milestone, yet the Conservatives want to put that progress into reverse. @libdems.org.uk will always support clean energy: for people, for the country, and for the planet.

Reform vowed to save "a lot of money" by abolishing "wasteful" spending in Kent. Instead they are going to put our taxes up!

Reform will apparently pledge today that they'd abolish indefinite leave to remain - including retrospectively, to people already granted it. Obviously this is a moral abomination but it is also a practical and legal impossibility.

Amid all the stuff about ‘dangerous London’ and ‘broken Britain’, new figures show the homicide rate in London is at a 10-year low. Killings dropped by 26% over the last year, from 78 to 58. No one under 25 was murdered during the school summer holidays.

You will never convince me otherwise: wheelie bins are the ugliest mass-adopted objects in the UK.

Some days they're street furniture, the rest of the time they’re literally the first thing that welcomes you to someone’s home. Ugly and stinky.

Brexit shrank the economy by about £100 billion.

So every year, the government is forced to forego the tax revenue (£35-£40 billion) it would have collected from that £100 billion in economic output.

So after 10 years, the economy is still down £100 billion but the government is down £350 billion.
