Here's the art in the metal 'primal dancer' frame. It's 8 ft tall. We put this in a 2x4 frame as the backgrnd, w/ paper snakes dangling on each side, (lit on fire when the performance started). Vespar brought drummers & did a semi nude dance.

This is the full watercolor. The idea was to have it attached to the iron frame like a stretched skin. The snakes represent movement, the 'veins' actually an image of her retina.

Another sketch. By the time I started the painting, the gallery had accepted our proposal 'Primal Spiral'. Nate started working on an insane metal frame for the art, Vespar worked on her dance, and the gallery built a stage just for this performance.

When I got the film developed for the drum sequence, the lab that had developed my nudes told me if I ever brought anything like this in again, they'd refuse to develop. Honestly, I don't see these are that intense, but I quickly changed labs.
