Super proud of my grad students @ashockney24.bsky.social and Kate Manges Douglas. They gave stellar presentations at #SICB2025 after just one semester of grad school!

Now weβre learning about how lizards adapt to urban environments w/ @princetonvaughn.bsky.social!
Urban anoles- across multiple cities- have longer limbs! They can also handle higher temps because cities are hotter.
Princeton asks- are city lizards faster sprinters with those gams??
Excited to talk tomorrow at #SICB2025!!

Swing by Marquis A Saturday at 9 and say hi! We'll talk about thermal performance, morphology, and kinematics, so be sure not to miss this!

Hi! Can you add me?
Thanks!
Hi new Bluesky people. I study urban evolutionary ecology, catch lizards, run marathons, and have an awesome lab of amazing people at NYU!

Hi everyone! Decided that since Iβm over here now, I should introduce myself!
I am a PhD student in Shane Campbell-Statonβs lab studying how anole lizards are adapting to anthropogenic change.
I use genomics, functional morphology, and kinematics to study rapid parallel evolution!
