I love the secret feature at Nine Elms London Underground station that reveals itself during a sunny day.

If you arrive at the perfect moment, the roundel logo is beautifully projected onto the floor.

So I took Dancer Andreya with me to interact with the scene.

Timetable 2026: Seems the Munich/Budapest/Prague-Krakow-Warsaw sleeper train will have separate portions for Warsaw and for Krakow & Przemysl. Theoretically good - but a significant downside is that Prague-Warsaw gets the sleeping-car, Prague-Krakow becomes couchettes-only.

Images like this bring back such great memories of going on ‘All Line Rovers.’ I adored these units, and enjoyed travelling the South East in comfort, and warmth! The sound of those slam doors, and those motors, it all comes flooding back!

Happy new week! A nice bit of sparkle to start Monday off with. Taken this morning at the base of Glastonbury Tor, shortly after sunrise.

Turning into a nice day now that the clouds have moved on. Break over and I have to drive myself now! 444010 & 444003 will form 1P23 fast to Portsmouth Harbour from P14 at Waterloo. I will be relieved at Guildford on this one as my duties lie elsewhere.

Change of pace now with 450028 on P6 at Guildford. 2J20 to Farnham is next on my list.

Sitting in the sun in the Tip Road at Farnham, 460028 waits to be called in to P1 to work 2J23 back to Guildford and the end of my day.

The castle was built in the 12th century. The dining room was rebuilt in the 19th Century. The table is set for a meal with numerous candelabras, silver cruet sets, 5 different glasses per person one of which is pink, bowls of fruit, pineapples, pyramids of possibly figs, flowers, silvery cutlery, silver ornate plates and decoratively folded napkins. A bit like my table at home.😉 This is in a room with very a high ceiling and really tall windows with a small stained glass border on each.
