This 83-year-old priest has just been arrested for holding a sign which read:

“I oppose genocide. I support Palestine Action.”

According to Starmer’s new law, this puts her in the same category as an ISIS or Al-Qaeda terrorist, with a prison sentence of up to 14 years.

RIP Mike Peters. In a lifetime spent in and around the music biz, I never heard a bad word said about Mike. That's some tribute.

So sad at the passing of Anne Scargill.

Anne was formidable - a principled activist who was full of fight but full of fun too!

Her role in Women Against Pit closures was remarkable, as was her community work in Barnsley and her solidarity with Cuba.

Anne was an inspiration.
