Randi Pink, author of the young adult fiction novel โThe Angel of Greenwood,โ talked to ContrabandCamp about how residents of a Pittsburgh suburb rallied around her book.
โBut when the teachers who worked so hard for a year to deem โAngel of Greenwoodโ a way in to introduce those students to the 1921 history of their country, too, that would've been a bridge into that bubble of a neighborhood. And if you burn the book, you burn that bridge,โ she explained.
