I’m learning Spanish with Duolingo and enjoying the gamification. Feeling confident in my new found language skills, I attempted to find dog supplies in the Cabo San Lucas Costco. Ultimately, I connected with the store staff member by going “woof woof.”

The inkvent calendar has some gorgeous inks. I haven’t tried shimmer or glitter yet but I hear medium and broad nibs are best. Dip pen is a great idea.

I think my handwriting is best with a fine nib but I’m enjoying an occasional juicy medium or broad. I have a new TWSBI Diamond 580 in medium that is one of the smoothest nibs I’ve experienced.

The current state of my collection is 40 pens, mostly new. I’m eager to add to my tray of vintage pens and learn more about pen repair and nib adjustments.

This is what has me hurting. Facebook is where I stay connected to childhood and college friends and former work colleagues. I will miss them. I may revert to staying in touch with pen and paper.
