We are the New Technologies – Research Centre (NTC) of the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen (CR). We explore quantum materials, green technologies, ecological energy sources, and solutions for human wellbeing.
We were pleased to host Tom van Waas (Université catholique de Louvain, Belgium) for his lecture on extracting self-energy and the Eliashberg function from ARPES. He presented a Bayesian approach and the xARPES package, with examples from SrTiO₃ and MoTe₂. Thank you, Tom!

Aki Pulkkinen won the Best Poster Prize at a conference in Budapest — and received the award from Olle Eriksson, chair of this year’s Nobel Prize Committee.
