very scientific recipe coming your way

return to heat and bring to boil until slightly reduced. everybody in the crock pot with some salt and pepper. cook uhhh 5 hours maybe

-preferably fresh bouquet de garni w/ thyme, bay, maybe parsley
-300ml ish of stock
-2tbs flour

fry shallots (whole or sliced) and leeks/onions + garlic till golden, remove to cock pot.cook flour 1min/until raw smell dissipates, remove from heat, add stock, gradually add wine, whisk out clumps.

at this point my recipe is kind of eyeballed but involves:
-at least 2 kinds of mushroom; portobello and chestnut are the preference, but the more the better + dried mushrooms are on the table
-2ish leeks (or 300g or so of pearl onions)
-a shallot
-2 carrots
-3 or 4 garlic cloves
-400ml merlot

mushroom bourguignon (served with mashed potatoes 😋)

- We need cheaper printed black and white comics for the love of god
