I haven’t included speaking as I usually say things out loud when I’m writing them, using my apps or listening to podcasts haha
Often people forget about this because they don’t have anyone to talk with but speaking aloud is better than not at all!

So maybe I am progressing but I don’t see it as easily

I can form very basic sentences

My vocabulary is limited and I’m still trying to wrap my head around the particles I’ve learned so far

I’m determined to try pass JLPT N5 maybe in 2026, I think I’m too busy to focus more this year 😭

I don’t think people realise how much time actually goes into learning a new language and idk if tracking my time is a wise idea

Part of me feels that I’ve barely learnt anything even though I’ve spent so much time studying

But then I remember I can read hiragana and katakana easier AND some kanji

I’ve done just over 20 hours this week of Japanese studying 🫠

I decided to start tracking my studying time so I can actually see what I’m doing and how much time I’m spending doing it

Reading covers using apps like WaniKani, Anki & Bunpro etc. on top of actually reading textbooks, etc.

I’ve played since 2015 and honestly this feels normal 😭
I never do roulettes on tank or healer unless I’m with friends because it makes me want to rub my face on a brick wall
I also learned to wall to wall tank way back when & I have go fast brain so I need friends I can trust to heal me 🫠

I’m a fiend for creme eggs 😭

I do ensure all of my posts for work socials include alt text and SRTs so I should ensure that same standard on my personal accounts, so thank you for pointing it out

I’m aware that my own posts don’t have alt text, and that’s lacking in my part for my personal socials, I was taught by a disability expert that you should try to be as clear as possible with your alt text and never make jokes in them
