The first instance of me actually animating something that I can remember is playing an edutainment game called Reader Rabbit Capers on Cloud Nine

It had a mini game where you could make "moving pictures" complete with onion layers

A comic of two foxes, one of whom is blue, the other is green. In this one, Blue and Green turn to look at something in the sky with mild concern. Blue: What is that? A helium balloon? Green: No, it's floating downward, not up. Both foxes are startled, eyes wide, Blue still looking at the sky as Green already turns to flee. Blue: It's coming right at us! Green: Run! Instantly, the unindentified flying object, which is now revealed to be a bright red festive christmas hat, lands right on Green's head with great force and precision. Blue looks down to Green, who is now laying on th ground, the seasonal hat positioned right on his head. Blue: It's December first, isn't it? Green: Yep.

Side Pocket.
Gave the SNES version a try on the Switch Online. It was decided on a whim. I was quickly reminded though while playing that I am very bad at Pool and could only make it past the first stage. At least the game looks nice and it has a great soundtrack.

Played and won the Mushroom Cup on Switch Online. I think if i had this game as a kid, I would've played it so much, trying to get trophies on every cup and every CC. Even now though I had a fun time. I only hope to play more soon.

Played on the Switch Online. Despite playing this while having a cold, I still had a fun time. I got used to the controls pretty quickly. I played as Peach and tried the Mushroom Cup and Ring mode.

Played this game on the Switch Online. I would've played a lot longer but having a cold makes me a lot more tired. Still, it was a decent time, though I had to rewind a lot due to how the controls were. I kept falling into the void because of it.

A fantasy whale floats through a pastel sunset sky. It uses it's many winglike fins to propel it through the stylized clouds. The whale itself is heavily patterned with a big bulbous gas filled stomach & feathery flippers. Large flying fish school around it as though taking advantage of it's slipstream.

It feels like some sort of rite of passage for a fantasy illustrator to design a skywhale so here's mine :D based on a humpback and filled with buoyancy! 🎈🐋 #BearHybridArt

Played an 18 hole tournament and a 9 hole mini golf. The gameplay was alright, even if repetitive. It took me a few tries to get the hang of. The best part of the game for me was the music, since its made by the same composer from Golden Sun: Motoi Sakuraba.

Had more fun with this game than I was expecting, maybe because its a fun falling block puzzle game. I gave every mode I was able to play a try, even doing pretty well on Challenge Mode. I may go back to finish all the Round Clear levels.

I played this on Nintendo Switch Online for about an hour completing the first two worlds of the game. I think the game looks really good for its time, and the music holds up well. Now all I need to do is get better skilled at this game.

Its a neat puzzle game that's best played when you're not tired and can focus on the puzzles. Also I had to make a lot of resets due to mistakes. But its nice seeing characters that would show up in Kirby games later on (due to both being from HAL).

I'm not great at this game but I still had fun. Its a decent side scrolling shooter game. I liked the game's looks and its music. The gameplay is fun too, though I wish the upgrades you buy at the shop would stay with you even after losing a life.

I've been meaning to check out the GBC Zelda games for a while and this was a good spot to try them. I only picked Ages since it was first on the Switch Online list. But so far its been a fun time. Only one dungeon completed so far.

This was more fun to play than I was expecting going in. It took a while for me to fully understand the mechanics, but even while figuring it out, I was still having fun. Despite getting lots of game overs, I wanted to keep on trying again and again.

I actually didn't realize ToeJam and Earl was a roguelike until I played the game for myself. It wasn't bad at all for a 1991 game. I liked how this game just had a ton of that late 80s/early 90s feel to it. The music was good too.

I am really bad at this game. It doesn't take long for me to reach a game over and I couldn't even make it past stage 1 of story mode. Despite this though, I had a pretty fun time and I enjoyed playing the game. The visuals and music are both enjoyable.

Found this Satellaview game on the Switch Online and gave it a try. It was pretty neat and I liked the puzzles, though a few gave me some head scratchers. Since its in Japanese it took a bit of trial and error with controls but I figured it out.
