NEW: Major, BFD action by blue states standing up to ICE.

Maryland, on Tuesday, banned local law enforcement from being part of ICE's notorious 287(g) program. 

That automatically forces *9* sheriffs out of their ICE contract!

And New Mexico did the same last week:

A picture of a work-in-progress on a sunflower slouchy hat I crocheted for my sister several months ago! Progress was very slow, this picture is from October 31st, 2025.

This is a picture of the finished sunflower slouchy hat from November 17, 2025! It shows some of the side of the hat, as well as the back of it, reflected in a mirror. The mirror distinctly shows the sunflower motif. I have edited ther image by covering most of my face with a cartoon sun sticker, lol. (It was not a flattering picture of me, I promise!)

hats are much larger, and can have lots of repetitive rows, but i think it's worth the learning experience! they may even feature fun challenges like decorative stitches and color changes!
