for their valuable help in making this work possible!
📊 Results showed that identity affirmation interventions (vs. control) and identity integration increased well-being.
However, we found little evidence that dual-identity affirmation was more effective than single-identity affirmation.
🔍 We examined whether affirming a dual identity provides additional benefits compared to affirming a single identity.
With a sample of 401 LGB-religious individuals, we tested the effects of dual- vs. single-identity affirmation interventions on well-being and collective action intentions.
✨ Happy to share our new publication!
Are Dual- (vs. Single-) Identity Affirmation Interventions More Effective for Enhancing Well-Being and Collective Action Intentions Among Minorities?

What makes exploratory research valuable? We discuss 6 factors: 1) Large and 2) Uncommon sample 3) Rigorous data collection 4) Widely used measures that 5) Reveal a coherent pattern across variables meaningful to others and 6) The potential to generate questions.
