Remember that each galaxy contains billions of stars, and the first deep space images we took was about the size of the tip of a pen if you held it up to the sky. We caught around 3,000 galaxies in that image. That’s in the ballpark of 300 billion individual stars. Inconceivably massive.

The wildest thing to me is having to add a disclaimer of “you can believe what you want but you have to learn it because of state testing” about things like the creation of the universe is not a conversation I expected to have, yet here we are. Teaching is an insane career choice.
