Yesterday, this absolute bear of a man gets into the pool, with his swimming cap neatly in place, and swims a number of laps before said swimming cap starts sliding off.

He stops at the one end of the pool to adjust and removes the cap to reveal a hairless head.

It is so hard to accept living in a world without her. And I cannot share all the little joys with her anymore.

I miss her so much.

It has been nearly five months since my mother left us, and I thought I was just starting to accept it.
And then, an old family friend reached out to me last week, she'd just found out about my mum's passing. We had a long call today, and it brought back all the grief, all the tears.

These sweet boys have now been with us for a full four weeks, and have settled in quite nicely.

They're such good boys, who love to cuddle with each other and with us. They also love to play, often at 2am 😂

I've started buying DVDs and Bluerays again. No, really. Bought 3 last week. Happily, I've hung onto most of my box sets from before this streaming scam.

Same with music. Physical media is the way to go. We've all been suckered.
