Update on the #isopods! I checked up on them while I was doing their normal spritz and I have so many babies in the tank now! They're too small to tell if they're the dairy cows or the cookie crumbles yet, but I can't wait to see them grow up.

I think this is the largest mat I've managed to shave off of a dog in a single piece. Holding it up, its longer than I am tall. And not from a doodle, amazingly.

I started looking for a new job because of how I'm being treated by certain coworkers where I'm at now. I had a phone interview today that I think went really well. Its still animal care, but not grooming this time.

I now have 2 mini rose bushes and 2 azalea bushes in front of my porch. Just trying to add a bit of color to my yard. I still have some tulip and lilly bulbs to plant before I'm done, but I'm pretty happy with how things are shaping up.

Since its Halloween season, my work has all of the insect keeping stuff deeply on sale. Am I using that as an excuse to start the #isopod colony that I've wanted for the past several months? Absolutely. Can't wait to get home so I can set up for these dairy cow and powder babies.

It finally happened. I was checking in a client and they said they had a picture of the haircut they wanted for their dog. It was an AI generated image and not something I could realistically do with that dog's texture.

I drove 6 hours round trip just to go to a Ren Faire out of state today. It was a blast and I got this cool little taxidermied/preserved wolf spider.

And I have officially fallen to the Asus power cord curse. It's only been enough to be annoying for the last several months, but last night was intolerable. I checked the plug itself and the inside of the barrel was completely corroded. Now to wait on a new one to be delivered.

And it is officially time to start playing the spooky games with my friends again. Let's see how well I remember Phasmophobia after not playing for almost a year.

So I don't know if I'm ever going to do anything with this, but I set up a very very basic pngtuber with my avatar. I've still got a couple more emotions to make before I'm really happy with it.

So mixed results on the sourdough. It rose a bit, but not as much as I was hoping. I probably should have fed the starter again this morning a couple of hours before starting. But it's a start and I learned a few things along the way.

I may be about 5 years too late on the trend, but I got a healthy sourdough starter going. Just fed it for the night and it should be good to go for bread tomorrow. Fingers crossed.

I went to the farmer's market yesterday. Homemade jalapeño poppers and baked zucchini fries for dinner tonight

And apricot colored toy poodle that's been freshly groomed. Most of her hair is short, but she has poms on all of her ankles. And a pink butterfly shaped bow over her right ear.

Just the cutest little toy poodle I groomed today. I really wish I got to fancy stuff like this more often.

I have accidentally turned a dog green... at least its a pretty green.

My mom would have been 61 years old today. She lost her second fight with cancer at the beginning of June of this year. I miss her so much.

Euphoria can come from the weirdest sources. Just had a dog in for nails with the note that she hates men working on her (rescue with history of abuse from previous owners) She fought me so hard, but was a perfect angel for my coworker.

Follow up appointment for his booster shots and to re-check his ears. He loves everyone here, but is so mad at me right now.

So I did end up getting to that sempervivum too late to help it, but the haworthia plant that I rescued is doing great. It's no longer loose in the soil anymore and has plenty of room to grow now.
