This site is absolutely less toxic but on the flip side, all I see in my feed is all the horrific shit going on and I don't know what to do about it (The horrific shit, not the feed. Keep pointing out the horrors, we'll figure it out eventually)

I would love to pick the brains of a few VAs on this issue. CyYu/Alejandro Saab and Nicholas Thurkettle chief among them. I've always been really interested in voice over and this whole thing is equal parts frustrating and intriguing.

As a fan of some Impact ed games, I want to hear the ORIGINAL VAs return to their roles. Characters being silent is a detriment to the experience. However, the reasons and details of the ongoing strike seem to be conflicting depending on who you ask. Some VAs have said contradictory things.

-It's especially confusing that some VAs have kept working, some have stopped and others still had stopped but ultimately returned and that the union statuses of these VAs is all over the place

-Are studios, devs or projects being struck against? I've seen all 3 blamed

-I blame SAG for not being more forward with the layman of how these things work but still expecting support from the end users

-I want VAs to have AI protections but I fear that some of the things I've heard might hurt non-union VAs so it's hard to fully support the interim agreement

-There doesn't seem to be alot of thorough and detailed info available to the general public on the in's and out's of the strike and the interim agreement that devs can sign

-This is all super confusing since what info we have from word of mouth from VA's in inconsistent

This voice actor strike is such a mess. Some thoughts from an outsider:

-Generally, I'm on the side of VA's, only problem is they don't all seem to agree
-Maybe don't attack the VAs, original or replacements. It's kinda shitty

I don't use this platform nearly enough. Not sure what to use it for.

I FINALLY GOT MY BRIDGET STATUE I LOVE HER SO MUCH

I get like this weird feeling sometimes. Like a thought locked away. Something that's sitting just on the far shore of my minds eye that I can't quite make out. It's a feeling like I should know what I'm looking at, that some part of me does but I just can't quite put the pieces together.

Yeah, that def looks like one of the final frames of a KH intro. Wide shot of key area? Check. Logo reveal? Mega Check. Shooting star in the BG that's totally not just a shooting star? Mega Check X3.

I did the thing. This list could be much bigger but I tried to whittle it down to what I thought was the most important to me but some major entries had to be left off like NES Super Mario Bros and Skullgirls. The list could probably be further refined but I could talk for hours about most of these.

I have only JUST heard of Martine Rothblatt and I'm PISSED that her existence has been kept from me. She sounds like the real world Tony Stark figure that might just end up saving the world (or at least helping us move into the future).

Has anyone else been especially tired the last few days or so?
