Inamura - nowhere to be seen yet was really good in pre season

0-0 and we were lucky to get nil.

I think this one is on the manager. With the players available we should be capable of a better performance than that.

From what I’ve read, our recruitment this window has been poor and The Rangers have signed pearlers.

As I said last week I don’t like to comment on their result prior to us playing but perhaps their recruitment isn’t good enough for SPFL. Only good for Europe 😉

Hatate injury. Whistle had gone for a foul. No need for either player to go for the ball, but especially the Aberdeen player who
a) Knew the foul was against his team
b) Went in full force knowing it was a free kick and therefore a free cheap shot

Hatate was entitled to stop the ball for the free.

Trusty clumsy at their goal. Good chances not taken but eventually class goals put us in front. Kuhn with a goal and an assist.

Would like Engels to get involved more and drive forward with the ball rather than the safe pass.

Hatate, Engels and MacGregor have the ability but play too safe. McCowan and Bernardo do try them.

Playing up front for Celtic isn’t the glamour position. Idah, Maeda and for a few minutes MCowan all starved of any clear chances.

All of them made good runs in behind but no one able to spot them / play the right pass.

I’m at the game and see it completely different. He’s been really good. Touch is excellent and brining othered in the game. Excellent flick for the 2nd goal (I think)
