When Sir Jim Ratcliffe Plays the Colonised As someone raised in a country shaped by British colonial rule, I know what domination looks like. Migration under UK law isn’t it.

Speaking as an immigrant out of Monaco, Sir Jim Ratcliffe told us this week that Britain has been “colonised”.

Except that Britain still writes its own laws, controls its own borders and governs its own migration system.

Almost as though he doesn’t have the foggiest what he’s talking about.

I never really sign stuff. But this was different. It's not about trying to facilitate or block a particular party's route to power. It's about an electoral system that's unsuited to the political realities we face today and risks giving us government after government with no convincing mandate.

If Jim Ratcliffe wore 10 real £40,000 Rolex's on each arm, and they all got stolen, and he went into London every single day.

It would take him 5,000 days, 13.7 years, and 100,000 Rolex's to pay back the £4bn he has dodged in taxes.

focusing on the technology, or seeking to ban these glasses, is the equivalent of putting a plaster over a gaping wound.

We have created a culture where every step, every moment, every action, has to be captured in image and uploaded to various sites. Many are monetising this. /1
