In the general election there were 25.000 votes cast (this is Iberville and Assumption Parish together in the general, I think), if I researched this correctly, so it is of course less showing of a 'changing opinion' and more of a 'who showed up'.

Jeg vil satse på de kan fortsættes eller kopieres mere effektivt uden korruption og politiske magtkampe i nutidens FN. Et FN 2.0 i ny eller reformeret regi skal i hvertfald tage ansvar for hele klodens fattige, udsatte og minoriteter, mener jeg. Det er ikke realistisk endnu, men jeg tror på det.

Selv uden USA holder Rusland og Kina nok fast i sikkerhedsrådets forandringshæmmende natur. FN beskytter desværre ikke verdens lande mod konflikter, folkedrab og udnyttelse, så jeg tror måske vi (EU + villige kloden rundt) kan starte fra bunden og finde på bedre strukturer til klodens gavn.

Eller: Vi kunne finde på noget bedre end FN til at samle og koordinere det internationale samarbejde.
