Estimated Β£250,000+ fee paid for him....but poor attitude or just didn't fit with Dodds and/or desired team system?

Farnham Royal and Farnham Common both Buckinghamshire. Wexham Park is right on the border between Berks & Bucks. The entrance to the ground is the actual boundary. (The ground is still there btw and Slough used to be Bucks, of course)

Farnham Royal is in Buckinghamshire.

Yeah, I read it as a mid term replacement for Harlington. At least the site is in Buckinghamshire....and a stone's throw from Slough Town's old stadium at Wexham Park too!

Little chance. Sounds like Kone has the choice of Swansea, Toulouse or Ipswich (especially if they sell Broadhead) to move to.

.....makes sense from a security perspective. Unless of course, Kone's form in the final three months of last season is more representative of his struggles at this level of football and/or playing in a Dodds system. Should the club cash in if PNE raises their offer or a higher bidder comes in?

Nor will the EFL when they view our accounts......a big sale must be imminent.

What a player Ruby was. IMO the most talented ball player we've ever had (with Mehmeti close). Until recently Currie was our second largest transfer signing until the (disappearing) Danes arrived!

Good luck to him. A great move. Again, the only shock is how he's managed a move within League One. Jasper is by no means a bad player but he's probably National League standard, maybe League Two at a push.

His agent has worked wonders to get a 3-year deal at a League One club. Maybe it's the same agent/magician used by Chem CampbellπŸ€”

Usually a little search will reveal an approximate transfer fee but nothing has cropped up for the Finkmeister. He looks like a 'no f*cks given' 6'4 meathead. Left-footed and decent on the floor with a turn of speed too. Could be a type striker we've never really had before.

Great, investigative work. So the additional 800-900 seats in the away end was for an extension of the current stand, or were these plans drawn up prior to the redevelopment of the Hillbottom Road end?
That home end would be a vast improvement on the current viewing experience from the Valley End!

Sounds interesting, good work Richard πŸ‘πŸ»
About 3 years ago I sent Rob Couhig examples of different stands already in place at various stadia which a Valley End redevelopment could be modelled on. I honestly think they never had any serious thoughts on it tbh. It was all bluff.

AyeπŸ‘πŸ». All tied to the access road to enable capacity increase. Project seems to be scrapped for now. No news from new ownership but then again there's no news on anything from the ownership. #aloof

The last photo shows just how much space is available to install a small, lower tier of seats in the main stand if need be. (I believe this was an option the Couhigs looked at)

Simons was anonymous but to be fair to him, he was playing in an anonymous side for much of his time at Adams Park.

Β£300k fee (possibly rising to Β£500k). You don't get much for half a million on League 1 these days!

It seems like Low and Dodds don't see eye-to-eye and/or Low feels he has the opportunity to better his career after the Swansea interest. Who wouldn't want to do that tbh? Data Dan will also see it as a chance to bring in cash.

This time last year we were tracking - and then signed - a central defender on a free transfer from a League One side which play in red & white stripes. That went well πŸ€¦πŸ»β€β™‚οΈ

Has the club purchased additional land and received planning for additional pitches? I thought there was only a single, full sized pitch in situ at the training ground?

The Couhigs will say the WiFi was improved to pre order food..... though I don't think that part of the plan was fulfilled and anyhow the food at the ground is still awful.

Meh. Not a jot a difference to the matchday experience. Hogwash.

Hi Paul. Q for you: would you know when the 'Wycombe Wanderers' lettering which adorned the fascia of the club shop (I think) building at Loakes Park on the Queen Alexandra Road side of the ground may have been installed? This was the signage which could be seen upon entering the ground.

Stupendous crowds!

11.05.2025 09:28 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

Allocation required: circa 1,000 if we take a lead to SE London. Circa 750 if the tie is level. Circa 250 if we lose the first tie.

How did the crowds compare just two seasons later in 1987 when promotion was achieved once again?

The attendance of 'only 554' - because it was a midweek match on a Thursday and/or it was during the mid-1980's apathy towards football in England?

The club has already drawn down Β£50m of 'investment' from the ownership group.
BCFC's wage bill next season will sky-rocket and additional (huge) transfers will be spent. It's a financial basket case/time bomb in the space of 18 months.
