A very scary bill just passed in Ohio for transgender folks. No one but local LGBTQ+ orgs are talking about it.

First, Ohio is only recognizing sex assigned at birth, male or female. You can get in trouble for stating otherwise on documents, I imagine. I may need to change my state ID back. 1/5

"hiatus announcement ! hi hi!! sorry for the sudden disappearance. it's only been a few weeks but i typically don't like going that long without posting any art. unfortunately i've been dealing with a lot of burnout, and have been for a very long time if we're being honest. i've just kinda ignored it and pushed on because i didn't want to give up what i had going online. having an audience and making a living off of my art is my dream!! but i've always felt like i HAD to be active online frequently, or else i'd feel like i wasn't getting anywhere. but it's gotten to a point where i've had to step back and realize that i'm just not happy right now. i feel like i haven't truly enjoyed drawing in a long time. i don't see the point in pursuing my dream if i'm not even having fun doing it. so as much as don't want to, i need a break. a real one, not just a week or two. probably for the first time ever since i started posting my art online actually, almost 10 years ago (insane to think about btw). i need to focus on myself and my art. i want to experiment, i want to improve, learn new mediums and techniques, make self-indulgent fanart, work on my original works and ocs, make the push to do things i've always wanted to do, work at my own pace, learn to love creating again. but i just can't do that when i feel like im under the public eye 24/7 or that i need to cater to an audience. i may post little things here and there when i feel like it, doodles or text post ramblings or pictures of my rats or whatnot, but most likely nothing bigger than that. i do have a few things i plan on releasing in my shop within the next two months or so, so keep an eye out for that i don't have a set timeframe for when i'll be truly back. it could be a few weeks to a few months, i don't know. i'll know when i'm ready. i promise it won't be too long, and i'm sure as hell not quitting. i love being part of online communities and sharing my work, but i need to remember to love myself too."

I will be turning my raw food in for testing.

My cats will not be removed for testing positive. But they will continue to re-test them.
