The law does not require info be classified, because it was written before the classification system existed. The law refers simply to "national defense information."

They’re not going to get out of this by playing semantics.

Sending detailed information about an upcoming military strike on unclassified channels (and even to the wrong guy) is wrong, reckless, and obviously a threat to American troops.

I had legit completely forgotten this.

One thing is to mess up your opsec the other thing is to fuck up your actual operation. It doesn’t matter if you do it with a knife or with an airstrike. Murder is murder. It’s time to start thinking of people as humans again instead of acronyms and statistics.
