I finally took a dive into The Pitt and I now see where all the accolades came from. Brilliant and intense medical drama, worthy of universal praise.

The 8th episode of season 1 absolutely destroyed me as did the start of the following episode.

I remember the good old days of Gizmodo or Kotaku retrospectively compiling the best ads into a big Superbowl article.

We used to make it an event in my old office to sit with coworkers and watch them on the big screen in the boardroom during our lunch break.

Reason is if you try to loop MP3 you get a slight pause at the start/end of a sample due to the format and compression.

Other formats such as WAV will allow seamless loop crossfading at the source before importing as an asset and provides zero latency at the stitch during runtime.

That was my fear. I really want a meaningful implementation and I don't think that will come until the tech has some serious maturity to it rather than a rush to inject it for the AI buzzword as a marketing ploy as the cost of user experience.

Oddly enough it is one of the reasons why I've been holding off upgrading my Samsung S series mobile to the latest model.

I can't help but feel that their early adoption of AI integration will serve to be more of a gimmicked annoyance to me than a valued feature during the lifecycle of the device.

It might be a purely coincidental and habitual thing based on my natural composition flow - but I can't rule out the influence of walking around with a constant high pitch C note ringing in my ears.

Over the years I've developed tinnitus from playing in bands & getting worse the older I get.

I've started writing music again lately and I always seem to gravitate the scale back to a derivative of C.

This morning I worked out that my tinnitus is a C note and it all suddenly makes a lot of sense.
