Basically if you are an all time Windows user and you want to try out Linux, use a Distro like Fedora or Mint which ships with KDE Plasma and you will be blessed. KDE really gets the job done of giving you a setup that is almost similar to windows, but withoud the Microsoft bullshittery.

I need to say that I *really* like Gnome. Imo it is one of the best polished DEs in the Linux Ecosystem and even has better UI/UX-Design as Windows. KDE was always a bit less polished, but has more customization options out of the box. But with Plasma 6, it gained so much more refinement.

The best thing is, you don't need to completely switch over to a new DE, you can simply install it alongside your default DE and you can choose the DE you want to use on your login screen. So if you don't want to stay with the new DE, you can always switch back to the old one.

One of the things when using linux I still find absolutely magical is the ability to basically swap on the fly to a completely new desktop environment. I've been using Gnome for years now on my work laptop, now I want to try out KDE Plasma 6, because it looks sick as hell.

I finished a new remix which I might release tomorrow if everything goes well. I thought about remixing some pokemon x and y music since legends z-a is coming out in 3 weeks. Still not 100% sure what to think about the games but I'm sure the soundtrack is going to be awesome 🙈

the interesting thing about this era of software is that i'm increasingly turning to free + open source stuff because it's just more reliable than the things you pay for

Only their software absolutely sucks ass and the price is on the higher side.

To be honest, when it comes to computer mice, I always buy Logitech ones because they, in my opinion, have the best hardware on the market. Absolutely reliable, robust and precise. Always had inferior experiences with other brands.

And all that do and can choose, get Linux or at least a fucking Mac already.

Just updated windows and got directly properly greeted with the new panic screen / (no more) blue screen. Cool!

You can’t honestly tell me that people do serous real work on this dumpster fire of OS.

Yeah, the range in which the views on my videos are fluctuating is crazy and I have no idea what gets into the algorithm snd what does not.

I honestly think that this algorithm is so far advanced that even YouTube has no idea anymore how it works. 😂
