I think what JB means is that he’s frustrated by the ‘run’ doing a restore even though nothing changed since his previous ‘run’.
I’d suggest using powershell auto complete thing ‘PSReadLine’ (if I remember correctly).
This way you can add ‘—no-restore’ in one keystroke 🤷

Is it possible for a method to be reported with a duration of less than the sampling rate ?
How does having more samples actually make it more accurate ?

I'm curious about implementation details about sampling profiling. For example is it possible to identify if a method has finished and restarted in between samples, or is reported only once as with doubled time ? cc profiler experts @rovarma.bsky.social @sschoener.bsky.social
