@paris.nyc I felt sad when Leo says he let's the cat outside. Coyotes are all over California. A cat wouldn't have a chance against a coyote.

@paris.nyc Re your coffee maker reviews thar you argues with Leo about. The answer was so obvious to me. I am stunned it slipped past all of you. An artificial intelligence might be good at analyzing stats about machines, but it could never tell us about the quality of the product they put out

Screenshot of a post on X by Brian Tyler Cohen (@brian…) quoting Pete Buttigieg. The quote says an ICE agent should have been trained not to stand in front of a vehicle or shoot into a moving vehicle, and claims this happened on Kristi Noem’s watch. It adds that the point of Homeland Security is to make the country more stable and safe, and argues the opposite has occurred under the administration. Below the text is a video thumbnail showing Pete Buttigieg speaking directly to camera indoors, seated in front of a framed picture and a lamp, with a 0:27 timestamp and a speaker icon.

Pete Buttigieg is absolutely correct. We must hold Noem accountable for what happens in her department.

Re: airpods - I have learned one thing. Remove airpods before getting on a transit bus (or Bart). Because if those babies fall out of your ear as you're getting into public transit, it's game over.

2/2 if I tried to do that I would probably drop the airpods case or fumble the airpod itself and it would fall on the ground.

A friend of mine at work used to answer phone calls on his iPad using his airpods. I have never tried this myself. His airpods were always close by. When iMessage "rang" (incoming call) he would open the airpods case, grab one airbud and insert in ear. I guess that "answers" the call? 1/2

@ohthatflo.bsky.social re: phone overheats. When you're sitting outside in southern California, make sure you phone is in the shade. Some of my phones have shut down by sitting in the hot sun for ten minutes. Bad if the big boss tries to call.
