First is removing the valve. Starting by removing the latex around the valve itself to make clearance for the new valve (old valve is glued on the inside)

Removed the internal latex ring because it would be in the way. The inside of the latex is blue!

Put some paper towel under the spot I'm working on. I remove this through the valve later
