While I can easily agree with your thoughts on authenticity, I don't agree with your either/or proposition. In my view, voters want authenticity AND a more centrist (meaning less extremism and more common sense) ideology. "Centrism" and comon sense and authenticity are not mutually exclusive.

I LOVE Bernie and AOC, but this suggestion is a recipe for disaster and would show that the Dems learned nothing from 2024 Elections. The vast majority of your countrymen/women want a Dem shift to the CENTER to meet the electorate where it is. This ain't gonna do it, much as it chagrins me to say it
