I know there's no grand strategy at work here, it's just cruelty and capitulation. In my experience, the SA program challenged conventions that hinder ALL candidates. Nuking this program, which sought to make academia a little better, a little more kind, is such a shame.

I was trained in this program in early 2023 and served as a search advocate twice. This is really, really disappointing news.
