After living in Portland for the better part of a decade I finally bought an umbrella and I gotta say - umbrellas? Pretty fucking nice. Way better than being wet. Way nicer to wear a comfy jacket than some sweaty Gore-Tex.

Whenever I go back east I’m usually asked by a handful of family members “So, are you still liking Portland?” and if I could take them on the bike ride through serene neighborhoods I took today that ended at a coffee shop with a skatepark out back I don’t think they would ask that question anymore.

The beauty of an apartment way up in the sky is that I *don’t* get ants!! So now I feel bad for whatever Robert Peary-ass ant thought it was a good idea to bring his friends here, because they’re all about to get squished and poisoned.

Ants have decided the best place to hang out is my fourth-floor apartment and I am losing my mind.
