The best thing about the Super Bowl was watching all the awful people I know root for the Patriots and get their hopes dashed.

Growing up, this was covered pretty closely in Social Studies. I am not sure if my son is taught how government works in school anymore. I take time to make sure he knows how not just national politics works, but local politics as well. Go to a city council meeting with them.

It's all performative politics. It doesn't matter what you do because modern Republicanism is about complaining. At this point juts live your life the way you want and ignore the Karen's on the right. It's like having a neighbor who complains because you have kids in your backyard.

I was proud to see Puerto Rican culture at the Super Bowl.

This photo highlights that the rich are a problem. I don't blame this lady at all. If I could bang an old man and become rich, I'd probably consider it.

You have to be really insecure about yourself to feel like people celebrating their own culture and history are attacking you.

Just remember that the people who lean hard right in America are too dumb to do math, understand facts, or not be hoodwinked into giving up their money to swindlers. If they are spouting statistics, they are usually false.

I can. America is a superficial country. We don't really care about real issues or topics. We don't discuss real problems. We instead have performative politics about culture war issues that mean nothing. Healthcare, homelessness and food insecurity should be #1 topics instead of a show.

That Ring commerical was absolutely terrifying. If they can use that to find pets, then they can use that to find people. I can see the government arguments to use it for lost kid/Amber Alert use, then criminals then political dissidents.

TOTALLY AGREE. Republicans are empowering this regime and turning a blind eye to its crimes. They are all complicit. This is about a political party abdicating its responsibilities. (Just to point out, I am not wholly supportive of Democrats and Democratic leadership. Those guys are failing too.)

If our country was serious about Journalism, we would have long ago treated them like utilities and not companies.
