Three months this week since I’ve started my new(ish) job. Still don’t want to jinx anything but I’m lucky I have colleagues who actually take the time to train me and ensure I know my job well.
Best thing I did this year was leave my old job for this. (Although I really miss making coffee 🥲)

A successful day overall. 🙂 Now back to some Pokemon Legends Arceus to finish that Pokédex.

Okay so Day 1/Orientation Day went well! First time ever doing a course done virtually but I think I’ll get the hang of it. Just means my Saturday’s will be sacrificed for 12-ish months stuck on a laptop in a virtual class but I’ll happily do that if it means I can get this Cert. 🙌🏼

It’s a part-time course that goes for 12 months but just 2 days a week virtually to attend, which works out better for me as a full-time worker.
I miss Hospitality and while I may not work in the industry anymore, I’d love to be a Trainer and Assessor and inspire people who want to learn. 🙂

So. I don’t want to jinx anything or worry I made an embarrassing mistake… (😅) but I’m giving it a shot and have enrolled myself in a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment course, starting tomorrow via Virtual Classroom.
You never know unless you try. Only positive vibes from here. 🙌🏼

Last few weeks have been all over the damn place.
But I did do something exciting and finally jump on the Apple Watch bandwagon. It’s a refurbished Series 8 watch (so much cheaper than a brand new one) but I love this. ☺️ Hoping it’ll keep me motivated with my walks and anything else exercise-wise.

This has been a very weird week for me, mentally. I’ve been in a very strange funk almost all working week and can’t seem to shake it at all.
I think I just need a hug or some kind of socialising. I feel lonely and a little lost at the moment.

I didn’t realise I looked drowsy, dang. Just tired on a Monday morning.

I’m a big fan of the Yokai Watch series in general but I’m so glad I own a physical copy of Yokai Watch 3 before the 3DS truly died off, apparently it’s one of the most expensive 3DS games to hunt for nowadays. 😬
(This post is basically saying my YW obsession has been re-emerging lately)

Finally testing out a different Pokemon game on Switch 2; Let’s Go Pikachu. (And now I suddenly want to complete my Pokemon Home Pokédex, too 😅) #NintendoSwitch2

It’s probably the best way to approach it. Some self indulgences now and then (I splurged on some Cadbury chocolate fingers after dinner last night 😁) but yes so easy to put it on but hard to get rid!
