Our housekeeper sent her children the past 3 times to clean our home. A friend’s housekeeper recently quit because the commute was now too dangerous for her. We now live in a police state where our neighbors are afraid to go outside.

We love California. It’s on our short list of places to move to if/when Texas becomes unbearable. We’ve been there twice this year already. Glad to hear that the economy is still strong there.

My rental is the guest room on the first floor of our townhouse located right in the heart of Dallas. I’m not taking housing away from anybody.

We are on other platforms too but Airbnb sadly drives the most bookings. Again, I don’t blame people for boycotting. Whether it be Texas or Airbnb or the entire US, I would stay away too. We are also boycotting red states and rage saving in Texas so we can spend our USD overseas.

I’m an Airbnb Superhost in Dallas that has been constantly booked for 12+ years. In July I had one single booking and revenue was down >90% yoy. Aug and Sep are shaping up the same. We don’t blame people for not traveling to Texas. I wouldn’t come here either right now.

I’m one of those voters and I fully support their actions. The GOP is who has lost touch with the voters. That’s why you have to redraw the map to hold onto power.

My rep left the state and I fully support it. It’s not like he went to Cancun like Fled Cruz. He IS working by bringing national attention to the corruption in the TX GOP and attempting to save our Democracy. I’ll definitely vote for him again, assuming we’re even allowed to vote again.

We’re honestly on a fast timeline to exactly this.

My husband and I were going to legally change our names when our passports expire next year. Now, I think we will just wait to see what happens with this.

Crashing the market so billionaires can swoop in and profit, accepting bribes/ransoms from oligarchs via your cryptocurrency. Bullying law firms into providing free services to avoid retaliation. Where do we live? How is anyone okay with this level of blatant corruption?

As a volunteer tax preparer, over the years I’ve helped countless undocumented immigrants file their taxes. They are hard workers that are so committed to following the law that they would wait in line for hours in order to pay their taxes, often on undocumented revenue. And this is their reward. 🤦🏻‍♂️
