Let’s be clear about what happened to Jimmy Kimmel Trump’s most brazen attack on free speech yet.

After years of complaining about cancel culture, the current administration has taken it to a new and dangerous level by routinely threatening regulatory action against media companies unless they muzzle or fire reporters and commentators it doesn’t like.

Did Disney not see what happened to Target when they bent the knee? Our Democracy is hanging by a thread and Media companies are caving. I wake up to GMA every morning. I will be suspending viewing of all ABC programming indefinitely. #canceldisney #cancelabc

I also just cancelled my hulu/disney bundle. Unfortunately, canceling thru Hulu doesn’t offer an “other” reason so I didn’t select anything and I’m sure they will figure it out.

We’ve seen this playbook before. “If we stop testing, the Covid numbers won’t be so big.” If we stop earnings reports, companies won’t say how much they are actually paying in tariffs.

I fully support this. I would’t recommend traveling to the US right now unless you have to. Too many people detained or sent back for no legitimate reason. But if you do, please consider California, New York, Boston or Chicago. These governors and mayors are leading the fight against 🍊🤡.

Sadly, the thing that ultimately saves our democracy may be the abject incompetence of the people now running our government.

We are headed to Canada next month to spend our US dollars as part of our apology tour. All of the money we saved boycotting Target and Amazon we will spend in Canada and Mexico next month and England in November.

Why hasn’t Greg Abbott invited the troops to Texas?

The reason they fear for their lives when they drive to the grocery store is because they have armed troops invading their cities. This is common sense. I cannot for the life of me understand how you don’t get this.
