I switched away from Revolut to HSBC Global Money. It does pretty much everything Revolut does in terms of currency. Add in something like Trading212 and Revolut doesn’t offer anything of value.
Given the level of service they provide – low and horrifically bad – I don’t see why they’re even viable.

I’d say there are far to few trans people – and they have far to many issues of their own to deal with – as for there to be a REAL conflict with women’s rights.

Literally the only people that think there’s a trans-issue to be discussed are the hateful right wing bigots that think Farage is honest, Trump is the saviour and Pol Pot was just a great asian chef.

I wonder not just why people turn hateful, but more why anyone thinks there even IS a “trans issue”.

Trans people are a tiny fraction of the population that are have so many issues to deal with themselves that they literally don’t have the energy to bother anyone else.

The rational response is NOT blaming itch, but rather to avoid Visa/Mastercard whenever possible.

That should – if at anything – be the domain of legislatures.

Leaving mores to private businesses didn’t work for AfricanAmericans, LGBTQ+ or anyone else ever.

On the practical side I’m in total agreement.
On the ideological however I find it utterly obnoxious that privat companies get to adjudicate social mores.

If they want to have the debate what should be banned or not, that’s fine. But it should happen in congress/parliament/legislature NOT in terms-of-service.

We should not allow private companies to be the judge/enforcer of social mores. That should be the exclusive right of the legislature.

Payment processors should be in the business of processing payments, not in the business of forcing overly puritan values on the public.

The problem I see is the proliferation of tools that try to do everything in a unified environment. And in the end these tools sort of work but do nothing well.
