Don't know, never did one both over the phone. My CNS did the first one, the second one had me in tears after I'd finished. Having to relive my 4 weeks in hospital and then all the visits to hospital as an outpatient was overwhelming...

Yes much better than onsite visits and as long the person being assessed has the equipment and knowledge to do that. Not so great for people like me who have speech difficulties and with handwriting - it took me several times over 2 weeks to complete mine last time. I'm not too bad at the moment /

easier to resume their benefits again. I believe 16-25's need better mental health support, the pandemic was not good to this age group. And for those of us with life long conditions taking away the stress of regular reviews would be such a relief...

The underlying message seemed, to me, that people who are unable to work will be given a bit more dignity financially and those possibly could work will have as much support as possible to achieve it. I think I also heard that people who went back into work but struggled with it would find it /

Some of it was good, some not so. I liked the idea of PIP going up with inflation, the stopping of reviews for people with life long benefits but upping the points threshold to 4 under the personal living portion may affect some people. As with anything change is always hard...
