The TV networks will continue to decline and move to a streaming model just like everything else. The television station owners like Nexstar and Sinclair will fill the void with even more propaganda and junk content. Only the very poor and the very old are watching.

ABC as a broadcast network is already on life support. So are the others. Jimmy Kimmel remains relevant only because his clips are repurposed and viewed millions of times online. Kimmel and Colbert can have even more influence on DIY channels that for now are beyond government control.

Can we stop saying we’ll feel it in our pocket books? My grandmother had a pocket book and she has been deceased for more than 30 years. That’s the last time anyone actually used that word to refer to a wallet or purse.

Jimmy Kimmel was suspended by ABC after pressure from the United States government. This is a direct attack on the First Amendment.
