Today we received a letter after playtime. It was covered in glitter and angel hair… it seems someone has some challenges for us to complete before the holidays….

As part of Scottish Book week we are hosting a school Read-a-thon and a Get comfy to read dress down day on Friday 21st!

What an amazing restaurant made from kappla with little people as customers.

We had a fun today with some Hallowe’en themed maths and some spooky silhouette painting this afternoon.

Today we practised introducing ourselves in Spanish with some fun games. Pency helped everyone to say their names.

Quick reminder Gym Days are now Tuesday and Wednesday.

We will be starting presentations this term - a letter has been emailed with dates for ‘show and tell’ for each child. Children are welcome to bring in photos, props to help with their talk.

After the holidays we’ll be starting Show and Tell on Thursday afternoons. Look out for a letter with your child’s date to share.

Our PE days are also changing to Tuesday and Wednesday.

Today we had our pupil council elections. We worked hard on or posters and speeches. Congratulations to our 2 new representatives, we know they’ll do a great job.

We looked at shapes that tile today. Making sure there were no gaps, and thinking about why these shapes work.

Thank you so much to everyone who supported MacMillan today. We still have lots of cakes left and will be offering them for sale tomorrow before break for a donation. If your child would like some please feel free to send them in with spare change,which will go towards the funds raised for MacMillan

Monday is our MacMillan Coffee Morning! Children will have the opportunity to buy cakes and enter the cake themed drawing competition. Please send your child with some pocket money if you wish them to purchase anything!

Kicking today off with a visit from our favourite librarian, Maggie! She brought the books we asked for and some surprises too. We’ve had great fun looking through them and talking about what we liked. 📚📖

Today we discussed the red zone and our favourite strategies to get back to green. Then we used a fun board game to explore new feelings words.

We have been working on reading, partitioning and ordering numbers!

Lots of fun in the area today! Some people chose to do some creating. What a beautiful kite and tall tower!

Today was our first visit to the school library! We’ll aim to go every Thursday, so any book brought back can be swapped then. Children have chosen a book to bring home to share and enjoy.

Our gym days this term are Tuesday (with Mrs Simpson) and Friday (with me).

P3F will also have drama Monday and Tuesday with Mr Kerr.
