When I left TX, things were so bad. Pandemic, no vaccines for kids yet, and my friends in other states were safe at home, while TX was pretending nothing was happening. When power was lost, again the pretense of “normalcy” while people died. Refusal to admit there is danger doesn’t make you brave.

So heartbroken for the lost and dead children in Texas. The last few days have been horrific.
