it feels like a literal curse sometimes. I want to try new food and yet at the same time its the textures, the taste and such that puts me off entirely

So, I really want to expand my diet because I am autistic and have struggled with ARFID (Restrictive food intake disorder) for years, but my family guilt trips me whenever they offer me something that really doesn't look good to me. Any suggestions on what I can do?
