Tuesday could be a big day, either positively or negatively, or might turn out to be a massive anti-climax. That's way to much uncertainty to be going to sleep on.

I'm still in perimenopause, so I don't get hot flashes very often. But holy crap those things do not fuck around. 'I'm a little warm,' to 'is this how spontaneous human combustion begins,' in 3.5 seconds.

Brain did say, Ooh Tennant, so maybe I'll try Doctor Who as overnight background after this. It might be too distracting, but I used to be able to use Torchwood, so maybe not. Can't do Torchwood anymore because I can't look at Barrowman without seeing him 'Woe is me' snivelling on Celebrity SAS.

I saw a post a few days ago asking, why isn't the first interview question everyone asks the mega wealthy, why do you need more money, and I can't stop thinking about it.

Throwback to this Doctor Who painting that I actually did at a con maybe eleven years ago. The original is massive. Maybe 32x18? Always loved this piece. Done in watercolor and gouache.

Slight eye strain headache, but otherwise unharmed. Thank you. Happily, it's just once a year.

Today has been a nice feedback plus a sale day for my little jewellery/crafting business. What a lovely feeling.

Falling back on one of my old comfort shows tonight. I'm still trying to find a replacement for Daria that won't give me horrific anxiety or jam my brain. Sadly, this one is tainted by the vileness of one of it's cocreators, I'm just not sure if it's too tainted or if my brain will go, Ooh Tennant.

Anyone who sees this who self-publishes their own books, are ypu aware of a checklist or guide that is current with all the publishing platforms and strategies?

I don't share a huge number of products from my shop on here, but I'm really proud of the new Christmas decorations I've been working on, so I wanted to show this one off.

I'm at seven hours now, and I've got a headache because I was impatient to actually do something instead of just sitting. I went back to bed for three hours when I got home because it seemed pointless to be awake. At least it's only once a year.

I would like my pupils to return to normal size now. Stupid eye drops. Everything is still a bit blurry and I look like a surprised cartoon. 😂

I know I find it helpful to see other people who are struggling sometimes but still trying, in whatever sphere, because sometimes the trying is hard.

Congrats on getting through the doors, and on the milestones. People who don't have anxiety have no idea how much extra strength and extra energy that push through takes. Hope the rest of the day is good.

Going to bed four hours early so I can lay there dreading the hospital appointment I have to get up at 8am for. Least favourite routine appointment of the year - the eye drops from hell.

A lovely friend recommended these Japanese curry cubes we've been using. There's little to no heat to it, but it smells and taste amazing. Never hungrier than waiting for this to be done.

SAD has hit pretty hard this year, so hubby set the couple of strings of coloured lights we leave up throughout the year but only use at Christmas, on their timer setting so they come on after I've had long enough to forget them 😂. I don't know why pretty coloured lights help, but they do a little.

I am alternating tasks and fiddling with this WIP. Found a clunky sentence I couldn't figure out how to fix, did a couple of tasks, fixed it. This isn't a strategy that often works for me, for either tasks or writing, but I'll take it.

It should be illegal to have so much to do on a Sunday.

I have no idea how I'm going to slow my brain down to sleeping speed. Think currently sleeping hubby might factor in the solution...

I am all for reposting people's requests for help or interaction. I think it's a great use of social media. But if you clog my timeline with 16 straight reposts of the same person's appeal within a few minutes, I'm probably going to unfollow.

A dislike button is a terrible idea. How to make the user experience worse and discourage people from posting.

I keep seeing the Thriller dance and it's giving me terrible flashbacks of the junior school 'leaver's show'. Half a dozen of us with hair backcombed with dry shampoo, charity shop zombie outfits, itchy face paint, and hours of training with one of the mums with a theatre mum complex. 😱

Maybe the dozen times I checked that parcel weren't enough. Maybe I messed something up. Maybe I made a mistake in the note that I didn't see. Maybe I should have picked different things, or explained differently. Maybe tomorrow I'll realise what I messed up and it will be too late.

My brain sucks.

It is now just under 24 hours until Daria is removed from Prime. I'm near the end of season one, but I still think I can finish it again with a bit of determination and not quite enough sleep.

I was rock hard from start to finish painting this one, and can you blame me with this thing staring me in the eye all day! 🥵
