If the other democratic governors show up instead of standing up for their fellow colleague and not showing up then I'll know the deal.

@jamespmanley.bsky.social Big Jim! Friday night. It's time for Washington Week With the Atlantic. This time I'm eating a freshly made garden salad with sauteed chicken strips and drinking water. I need some veggies. I really want some squash and zucchini with onions.

We are rotating seafood into our dinner meal 2 or 3 times a week. Tonight spaghetti Alfredo with shrimp. Yum.

Think of all those GOP Congress folks who will be out of a job in CA and VA because Trump wanted five extra seats in Texas. If I were them I would be pissed and switch parties. But they won't and we don't want them.

This is exactly why the poll numbers are low for Democrats. It's not for reasons people think it is when reading the polls. We support their policies but we want strong leaders, not leaders with jelly fish spines who writes "strongly worded" letters all the time to this administration.

The fishmonger had great red snapper yesterday. Tonight it settled into a creamy Cajun sauce with polenta. I’m not mad at it!

The DOJ purposely left the victims of Epstein's abuse unredacted in the file dump. They are some sick bastards! And I bet they did it at the direction of Trump. I hope they all burn in hell.

They are going to tamper with those ballots and if the media falls for it they a failure to all of us in which some of them are already are.

@jamespmanley.bsky.social Big Jim, when you were growing up in Minnesota during the summer did your mom use a clothesline to hang out/dry clothes? My mom did. I miss having a clothesline. Especially when the electric bill comes due. My mom had the real steel wire and wrapped them around oak trees.

@jamespmanley.bsky.social Got home yesterday about 4pm just scanned on the cable news channels. Stopped at CNN then they panned over to Scott Jennings on the panel, changed the channel and listened/watched the old TV show called The Rookies while winding down. I think it was a show from the 70's.

I think half of ICE is made up of the Proud Boys.
