Like the way I’ve been spoken to in the last 12 hours just has left me in such a depressed state about myself? But also knowing that it really is not how anyone should speak to someone is a reminder that it’s not entirely a reflection on me.

I think the thing I’m trying to remember most on days like this one, where I just feel so fucking worthless, is that very few people on earth could put up with the amount of hell thrown my way. And that has to count for something. I think.

I don’t deserve reassurance. I don’t deserve to be told that what I’m thinking I can’t control and that it’s okay to hurt. The fact I hate myself so much is the penance is must suffer and sharing that pain is just causing more.

My mind is always at war with itself to keep myself alive and I hate that I don’t get to show any vulnerability or weakness with this and get support because the resentment against me is used to remind me how awful I’ve been in the past. My struggles are selfish.

I hate feeling nothing will ever be enough. Nothing I do will matter because of the sheer debt of pain I’ve caused that must be used as a cudgel against me for eternity. I hate that no matter how many times I try to love myself that in the end I’ll always believe that I’m awful and will always be.

This thread hurts so much to read but it’s so true and I wish more people said it.
