2026 might not be my year but if i can hold myself to an arbitrary goal i set myself, i can make real projects happen. It’ll just be on my own timing as usual

part of this grind was cuz of irl problems getting to me, so i genuinely had to lose myself in the obsession to ignore the bullshit. I'm doin' better now but there are clear points this year in my work where i was just very vulnerable and had to messily express myself or id explode

man, part of how i draw so much so fast is cuz of doin' a bunch of figure drawings this year. Goal is to reach 100 sessions before 2026 and i'm at 91 rn.

I just treat them as warm ups to get my wrist movin' and to get through the "bad drawings"
